Meet The Team

Jake Ahern-Davy

Jake has a Master's degree in social work and has worked in a number of different schools throughout the Western Quebec School Board in both community development and as a school counselor. Jake is new to the transition facilitator role this year and is excited to learn about the many different ways to support students and families as they move along their educational path.

Transition Facilitators provide support for families before and during their child’s transition to elementary school. As Transition Facilitator for the Western Quebec School Board, Andrea and Jake collaborate with community partners to provide helpful information and resources for families in preparation for their child’s transition

Andrea Shattler

Andrea has a background in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Social Work, with over ten years experience working with families and children. By working closely with families and schools, Andrea provides ongoing support to help students experience a smooth transition to school and a positive start to their educational journey.
